Gabriele Giovenali (endorser 2013-2015)
At the age of five, in close contact with his father, also a drummer, he falls in love with music and the instrument. He began studying drums from a very young age with Maestro Marco Pellegrini.
In 1998 he made his debut with a Mike Stern cover band and began an intense live activity that saw him perform in many Italian squares and theaters and beyond.
At the age of fifteen he studied classical percussion privately with Maestro Leonardo Ramadori, attending at the same time the experimental percussion course at the Briccialdi Institute in Terni with Maestro Gianluca Saveri.
Since 2000 he has been attending the Morlacchi Conservatory of Perugia under the guidance of Maestro Domenico Fontana and studying piano with Professor Serena Marotti. In 2003 he graduated in theory and solfeggio, in the same period he began studying drums with Gianpaolo Petrini (Demo Morselli, Anna Oxa, Celentano, etc.).
Gabriele, over time, studies with the best drummers on the international music scene such as: Lele Melotti, Maurizio dei Lazzaretti, Walter Calloni, Massimo Manzi, Antonio Golino.
Since 2006 he has been attending the prestigious “Cambiomusica Soundland” school under the guidance of drummer and producer Alfredo Golino.
With Melotti, Dei Lazzaretti but above all with Golino he develops all the concepts and aspects of the drummer profession: from the construction of the groove to complete independence, from sight reading to the sound of the instrument up to a real specialization in the “Studio Recording”.
The last seminar he attended was that of Pat Petrillo (Gloria Gaynor. PattyLaBelle, etc.) professor at the Drummers Collective in New York.
Gabriele, always around to “bring his own sound”, has collaborated with many bands of different musical genres, alternating live concerts with studio sessions.
Since 2012 he has been a teacher at the “Casa della Musica” in Todi (Pg).
In the academic year 2013/14 he taught at the Musical Academy of Terni and was the drummer of the big band “Sunrise Orchestra”, made up of 25 elements (rhythm section Davide Pieralisi, Alessandro Silvestrelli, Alessandro Nuvoloni). < / p>
December 2013, he participates in the 3-day clinic-event organized by Alfredo Golino and has the honor of playing with Paolo Costa and Giorgio Cocilovo.
September 2014, he plays with Maurizio Solieri, Mimmo Camporeale and Lollo Campani.
In 2015 he collaborated as a session player with “ ASSENZA “, a band produced by Ettore Diliberto’s “ET TEAM”.
In June 2015 he organized the Clinic-Event with a limited number of the greatest Drummer ever: Alfredo Golino .
he plays in the Vincent Johnson Quartet and will play with the great Mita Medici, in the recital on Califano, under the artistic direction of Silvano Spada, in the Todi Arte Festival 2015 and beyond …
