Cesarini Sound // C-Reptilia, John Caban, Umbria Jazz 2014
Stratocaster or Ibanez? It has characteristics of both, a fusion of elements that does not allow easy classification. Body with a Fenderian perimeter, but with a very thin thickness (38mm), even the front and back flares are more pronounced and “fast” in the sense of technical execution. Diapason always standard stratocaster, while the width of the fingerboard at the nut and at the last fret are much smoother than in Fender, the width between the neck and the two horns of the body is also closer to Ibanez.
Passive electronics, C-Shapely handcrafted pickups , which have a modern “bright tone” , but with a vintage look. Wilkinson gilded mechanics, tilting adjustable tremolo bridge. The headstock does not require cord tensioner, as it has been studied very angled in design.
In terms of aesthetics it has a very special look, polished / split sandblasted pickguard and nitro finishes tending to green, even the fingerboard and the back of the neck have a tip of this color. From this the instrument takes its name, which looks like a reptile. It is truly a boutique and professional guitar at the same time.
